'The sky knows no limits'
Nature provides with an incredible library of beautiful materials. Scheek is able and willing to provide in a wide spectrum of these embodiments of color and structure. There is a continuous search for surprising and extraordinary materials to provide you in the best way possible. Not all the available materials are listed on this page, if you have a special request or a suggestion, we are always interested in what that might be.
Wood can be one of the most interesting materials. Because it can be used in it's most raw state, the drawings in the wood made by time are unique and full of character. All the woods we use are harvested from a sustainable source in a sustainable way.
Leather is perfect for creating a softer look when it is not under high tension. Under higher tension a tighter distinguished look appears. Processed in a sustainable way and treated for long lasting use .
A hard and sharp look. Brushed, polished or coated: versatile and relatively high in strength. Some metals have a 'living' quality, they react to oxygen and or water. Unique looks arise when nature is at work.
Stones are an incredible material for objects that need to look massive, but when cut under certain angles and keeping detail in mind, elegant and fragile looking designs can arise.
Versatile and present in (almost) every interior. Unconventional for loudspeakers and therefore very interesting if you are aiming for a design that does not say 'speaker'.
Quite new, and loved among kitchen designers for its clean and smooth look. Solid surface materials allow creating seamless products that are translucent (interesting for lighting situations).
High Pressure Laminate materials are very diverse in their look and structure. Because they are (mostly) made of plastics, these materials are weather and chemical resistant, and relatively low in costs for big surfaces.
'Sustainable plus' materials have a raw and natural character. They are interesting for the inside of a product, but also as a finish to make a natural statement.
